PROJECT EDEN EAST
working for my Space& Place module in developing a personal large-scale educational project. It started here as a documentary work called NEW ECOLOGIES. But it has a practical implication in the future and will grow as an ECOLOGICAL reconstruction project. In short, it aims to regenerate a derelict location, ORFORD NESS, which I had the opportunity to explore during the school fieldwork. Having a background in Environmental Sciences, during my research and documentary work, I had a vision of this place as a potential location for an ecological reconstruction inspired by the original EDEN project from Devon.
In order to develop in Suffolk such a project, I found it useful to see a replica of the primary Eden already in work. Eden Project North re-imagines Morecambe as a seaside resort for the 21st Century inspiring wonder and a connection with the natural world inspired by Eden Project’s focus on education, ecology, and community.
I mentioned this project here in my photography section creating a new visual approach called NEW ECOLOGIES. This photography and art project will continue in parallel to be illustrated on my website because this is how it started.
