Apart from the general workflow, I customize and create presets according to my cameras : Nikon D700, Nikon D3200, and Fujifilm S5 Pro. Particularly for the last one, because of its CCD old sensor, which saves an uncommon type of file I operate different settings in order to balance the colors and exposure. I also have my own habits, to underexpose with -0.3 in sunny days with direct light, to avoid overburn in some areas. Then I tweak the settings in the converter for satisfactory results. Finally, I use to save the file as TIFF.. The default JPG files which come out from the Fuji camera are quite pleasant, with the film simulation aspect and very good dynamic range
